Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Generate regular reports for management to aid in decision-making processes.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and expense reports.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions accurately.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
Provide insights and analysis on budget variances.
Tax Compliance:
Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial audits.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
CPA certification (preferred but not required).
